Posting under the username Jess on TikTok, the handy hack went viral with more than 1.4 million views.

Footage shows someone pulling down a car’s grab handle and flipping down a small catch inside to hold it in place.

This makes it easier to hang things up and saves you time and effort.

She was so stunned by this car-related hack that she rushed to her own car to see if it worked – and it did.

But, not all cars may have this handy feature.

Since being posted, the video has received more than 107,000 likes and 1,800 comments from people who were just as surprised as Jess.

And viewers were quick to weigh in with their opinions on the handy hack.
