Weeklong Ogrefest scheduled at The Brew Kettle

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio – The Brew Kettle’s Ogrefest is coming up.

The weeklong celebration of big beers and hearty food is Monday, Feb. 12, to Sunday, Feb. 18, at the brewery’s Strongsville location.

It’s a well-culled list of beers, with most in the double-digit alcohol percentage range. They include Russian Imperial Stouts, Triple India Pale Ales, Belgian Dubbels, Barleywines and others.

Shout At The Devil: Eggs, breaded and fried for a crispy crust and served with strips of habanero-honey glazed pork belly.

Take Bahn ME: Tender confit duck topped with an Asian salad and served with a siracha aioli.

Appetite For Destruction: A smoked and braised 64-ounce bone-in beef shank served with glazed rainbow carrots, Tunguska-braised cipollini onions, beef gravy and toast points.

Raaaaaaspberry Sorbet: Raspberry sorbet served with chocolate-dipped pistachio biscotti.
